Strong, focused and passionate; Aparna is a person full of energy with a firm desire to create; leaving no stone un-turned, hence taking Production design to such a detailed level which is worth every bit of admiration. The vigour for her work is so intense – that is visible beautifully in the smallest of commercials she has designed; be it the much applauded ‘aircraft’ which was entirely replicated for Neerja, that no one in the history of Indian film making has ever done. Her work process initiates with doodles and very vigorous referencing which later get converted to layout, after which scaled drawings are made and then her very aggressive and dedicated team takes up and the final output is a remarkable creation which is undoubtedly perfect.Aparna’s work is very vivid with intricate details going un-noticed for everything and anything touched by her flare.

She has a strange driven obsession for that gives her a high with anything related to design, be it interior design or art direction. She hates repetitive work and experiments with a good variety that has over the years evolved to become powerful in whichever manner done. Under this creative mind’s collar is a massive volume of work some of which are very recognised projects like Nishabd, ABCD, Tevar, Rann and of course the flawless aircraft for Neerja which was created in just 48 days.
